Brent Gibson, MD, MPH, Founder & Principal Consultant
Dr. Brent Gibson is a nationally-recognized, board-certified physician executive with over two decades of experience advancing healthcare quality and safety in complex and non-traditional environments. As one of the nation’s foremost experts in correctional healthcare, he has consulted for state departments of corrections, local detention systems, and private health providers—helping optimize healthcare delivery for some of the country’s most underserved populations.
Dr. Gibson has served as Chief Medical Officer in the U.S. Army, Clinical Director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Chief Health Officer at the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, and Chief Population Health Officer for a national correctional services corporation. With deep expertise in occupational and correctional medicine, he has led large-scale clinical operations and designed value-based care models grounded in strategic planning, system redesign, and data-driven quality improvement.
