Dr. Angela Larson, an American Board of Medical Specialties board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a Master of Science in Health Care Transformation, leads healthcare organizations in strategy and operations for domestic and international rural and at-risk populations. Her experience as a physician in American Federally Qualified Health Centers and rural communities, coupled with her leadership in rural hospital systems, provides a deep understanding of community health needs, including access to care, chronic disease management, disease prevention, infectious disease management, and social influences of health. 

Despite resource constraints, she’s worked with stakeholders to find creative solutions to healthcare administrative problems. As a clinical leader and value-based care specialist, she formulates, measures, and achieves operational and clinical performance goals, helping healthcare organizations realize greater value for patients through improved health outcomes. She’s dedicated to improving healthcare systems for higher quality, safe, and accessible care.

Brian Koehn’s three-decade career—spanning service in the U.S. Marine Corps, the Army, and institutional leadership—embodies Avocet’s core message: No One Left Behind. His military background and expertise in managing complex institutional environments form the foundation of his transformative approach, connecting the dignity of marginalized populations to the wellbeing of those who serve on the frontlines of public safety. 

Through his founding of Social Purpose Corrections (SPC), Brian pioneered the Cost-Plus Performance Incentive model linking compensation to outcomes and the STAIR Framework (Screening, Triage, Assessment, Intervention, and Reintegration) to enhance resilience across institutional settings. These innovations ensure both residents and staff benefit from compassionate care and nonprofit reinvestment in community wellbeing—exemplifying Avocet’s mission to strengthen the vital link between underserved populations and uniformed professionals through digital transformation, ensuring care, dignity, and opportunity reach everyone at the margins and on the frontlines.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in public and private healthcare sectors, Jared Lormand provides expert consulting services in executive management and strategic planning with a focus on process improvement, team building, and technology integration. As a former hospital executive and CIO, he led major system upgrades resulting in enhanced operational efficiencies, cost reductions, and marked improvements in patient care services. Combined with his strong background in EMR software implementation and healthcare operational assessments, Jared empowers clients to achieve organizational transformation and operational excellence.
