Brent Gibson, MD, MPH, Founder & Principal Consultant
Dr. Brent Gibson is a globally recognized, American Board of Medical Specialties board-certified Occupational Medicine physician executive with nearly 25 years of experience advancing healthcare quality and safety in complex and non-traditional environments. As one of the nation’s foremost experts in healthcare delivery in austere environments, he has consulted for government entities of all sizes and private health providers—helping optimize healthcare delivery for some of the country’s most underserved populations. He was previously elected a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine.
Dr. Gibson has served as a Chief Medical Officer in the U.S. Army, a Clinical Director for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Chief Health Officer at the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, and the Chief Population Health Officer for a publicly traded national correctional services corporation. With deep expertise in occupational, environmental, and correctional medicine, he has led large-scale clinical operations and designed value-based care models grounded in strategic planning, system redesign, and data-driven quality improvement.
